Rainbows

​

The Rainbow paintings started from an experience I had at the Iguassu Falls in Brazil.

 

While visitIng there, my daughter insisted that we take the boat that went into and behind the falls at their base.

 

We got totally drenched; the air was wet and sparkling and everywhere leapt rainbows, every corner of your eye caught a rainbow.

 

In response to these dire times I decided to make paintings that gave that uplifting and hopeful feeling of the rainbow.
